Tasty fun & Learning at Sweet Bee's Honey Festival!

Our partners in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) programming for Sweet Bee's Honey Festival include the Cradle of Aviation Museum, Long Island Children's Museum, Friends of the Hempstead Plains, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Girl Scouts of Nassau County, the Long Island Beekeepers Club, the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Long Island Cares and Mamaroneck High School's famous "Bee Team." Seminars and activities will be appropriate for a range of ages.

Baum Image Group is also pleased to announce that admission to the Honey Fest includes showings of the giant screen film "Backyard Wilderness" in the JetBlue Airways Planetarium at no extra cost (regularly $9/adult & $8/child)! 

Backyard Wilderness will surprise and delight viewers with the unexpected wonders of nature that are right under our noses... in our own backyards!

For the first time on Long Island, Airigami of Rochester, NY, will construct a giant honeybee art sculpture made of biodegradable latex balloons in the lobby of the Cradle of Aviation.

A video of Airigami's work at the Kuwait Maker Faire earlier this year is below, as well as a listing of just some of the media outlets that have featured stories about Airigami.

Sweet Bee's Honey Festival ticket holders who would like to see the honeybee being constructed in the lobby of the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Saturday, November 3rd, 11am-4pm, can show their Honey Fest tickets for free admission and even an opportunity to help on the bee sculpture's construction.

Additional honeybee, science and environmental programming will be available will be available on Saturday, November 3rd, at the Long Island Children's Museum and at the Friends of the Hempstead Plains. Be sure to show your Honey Festival tickets to the Children's Museum for a special discount on regular admission!
